Collecting vignettes. Framing postcards of receding roads. Getting lost in a bookstore, and then finding each other -- laughing over a cup of coffee. Contents of our glove compartment: two journals, three pens, one map. reporting from the field -- jonna
Got in about an hour of writing/thinking about writing time. Instead of working on finishing this critical response, which I set out to do, I ended up drafting a couple of poem ideas. It's possible that neither of them will come to anything, but it was still good writing time. Need to sit down and read more tonight...
Took a few days off to do outdoorsy things, but had a good day of writing. Two solid hours, I think. Didn't do a wordcount because I feel like it would only be disappointing. Hoping to keep the streak this weekend!
1 hour. 1200 words. ** Did not finish my pathetic story. Did put a first coat of finish on the two new book cases. My parents left today. My consolation will be more writing time.
677 new words (DRAFT OF PIECE FINISHED), some revised, two pages journaling in the midst of a house invaded by a visiting dog and owner. Now at work, the hope is that more work will find itself in the cracks here and there, but I know that's a lie.
